DSCF0027Take a breathtaking road trip to Lake Magadi only 3 hours from Nairobi. Available on 19th September, 2015, this expedition will give you a thrill as you wade and swim in the hot springs and interact with the Maasai in the area.

Itinerary
Nairobi – Lake Magadi (117Km)
Depart from Nairobi in the morning, and head south towards the Ngong Hills.
Before we descend over the escarpment, we stop for photos and views across the Great Rift Valley. Then descend over the Ngong Hills, continuing south into a semi-arid landscape, with some stop-overs. We approach the lake from the eastern side via the Magadi town and the Magadi Soda factory. Enter the Lake Magadi reserve area and continue onto the hot springs where we stop for wading in the springs (if the weather is not too hot). It is possible to see animals around Magadi like zebra, gazelle, impala and warthog.
Depart afternoon for Lunch & swimming at the Magadi Swimming Club, then depart for Nairobi early evening.
